Question:
What are some tips for a healthy scalp?

Answer:
Those of us that let our hair dry naturally might never have a brush touch our scalp. Especially those with naturally curly hair!  This can lead to scalp flakes.
Before shampooing lightly brush your scalp using natural boar bristles to remove product build-up and scalp flakes, as well as stimulate the scalp and promote blood flow (which delivers nutrients like oxygen) to hair follicles.
Use shampoos such as our Stimulating Shampoo infused with healing oils of tea tree and eucalyptus,  spearmint, lavender and rosemary.
Besides promoting blood flow to the scalp and hair growth, a scalp massage also soothes nerves and relaxes the muscles in your brain. Use the balls of your fingertips in a circular motion with firm pressure and upward strokes for an effective massage.
Eat healthy and consume foods with vitamins, such as carrots or sweet potatoes, and healthy fats, such as sardines or avocado.
