Question: What hair trends stand out for the Fall and Winter?
Answer:
Hair trends are inspired by culture. Some trends begin on the runway, some on the street and are inspired by music, art, romantics, rebels and celebrities. Long dramatic waves influenced by the 1940's are revived this season with the off-centre or side part. Try using your straightening iron and twist the ends for movement and waves.
1970's long layered hairstyles are continuing into the fall and winter. Just before you are finished blow-drying take sections and twist, twirling from root to ends drying as you go. Leaving the sections cool, then fluff!
The bob will be in full force with many different versions. The short layered bob to the longer, softer and more retro-inspired. Intensified natural shades are the most sought after hair color tones. This means taking a color like blonde, brunette, or red and adding highlights, lowlights, and shine enhancers to make the shade bolder and shinier.
